Complete renovation of a historic building in Thessaloniki, preserving its shell, located at the corner of Tsimiski and Komninon streets, where the former “Lambropoulos” department store was housed.

The multi-floor commercial building consists of a basement, ground floor, and six floors, with a total area of 3,600 square meters.

As part of the commercial redevelopment of the building, EKATER undertook and executed extensive works, including the radical transformation of the building’s facades, internal demolitions, reconstructions, and the construction of new foundations and structural elements, with concurrent reinforcement. The project involved a phased renovation and energy upgrade of the building’s shell.

The project was completed in a timeframe of 10 months, delivering a modern building that now houses a department store belonging to the Inditex Group.
